Absolutely fabulous collaborative effort from John Cale and Terry Riley. Totally cruising hypnotism never losing sight of their respective identities. Cale returns to early form, tapping in the hallucinatory vein of VU-yore, while Riley breaks free from formalism. The saxophone embellishments of "In C" are represented with temperate fluidity. The snake charmer plays for the concert piano, ever intertwined and melted down into an acidy reverberation. This cermony occurs in a palace of progressive rock 'n' roll shimmies and dazzling jazzy shifts. Eastern meditation on western rebellion.
